Renown designer Eva Ziesel was hired by Red Wing Potteries in the mid-1940’s and developed the “Town and Country” dinnerware line. This was her only work for Red Wing. The tilted shapes and easy-to-grip handles characterized her practical, but stylish, design work. This pattern is also known by it’s famous Shmoo.
